Leanne Levers

Co-founder (She/Her)

Leanne has been championing justice and equity for over two decades, with a special focus on the unique challenges faced by Black women. With a PhD in Politics and International Studies, she advocates for policy reform, particularly those addressing violence against women and girls. 

Currently, Leanne is the Director of Advocacy and Communications at a social change agency, where she leads efforts to advance gender equity. In 2023, she published her first book, “Decolonising Restorative Justice: A Case of Policy Reform.” She’s also shared her insights on BBC Woman’s Hour and guest lectured at various universities across the UK.

Roshan Roberts

Co-founder (She/Her)

Roshan is an executive podcast producer, and speaker. As a trained Multimedia Journalist with a Gold Standard NCTJ Diploma, Roshan is passionate about storytelling and creating engaging content. Her love for giving a voice to marginalised groups shines through in all her work.

Roshan’s commitment to impactful storytelling is evident in her work, including presenting a Newsbeat documentary exploring Black hair. Her expertise and dedication to elevating voices make her a dynamic force in the media landscape. An award-winning producer and mental health first aider, she’s passionate about wellness, mental health, and identity.
